Stopped in for Sunday lunch and couldn’t have picked a better place to eat. The food was excellent. Roast beef done to perfection and belly pork with crispy crackling. A huge selection of vegetables. They’ve only been reopened a few months and are doing a superb job!

Roast lunch today and could not rate it more highly. The service from everyone was incredible and so so accommodating with kids and a dog - with a lovely table in a corner away to also respect other guests. The food was absolutely phenomenal - best roast we’ve eaten out for years both from a meat perspective and vegetable selection. Thank you so much

Myself and my husband had the most amazing meal last night.

We had the tomahawk steak and we have never tasted anything like it, the flavours and quality were 10/10, it was fantastic.

All the food was the best we have had by far, fresh and the best quality meal.

Lovely atmosphere and cosy with the fires lit.

We can’t wait to come back, highly recommend.

We thought that the Sunday roast at another local pub in Pitminster was unsurpassable but we were wrong. The roast here was exceptional, next level. Generous portions & everything from the main to the desert was well thought out, cooked to perfection & incredibly flavourful. Welcoming atmosphere & excellent service. Wouldn’t consider anywhere but here for a Sunday roast in the future.
